World Cosplay Summit 2019
The World Cosplay Summit is an annual event held in Nagoya Japan since 2003. The World Cosplay Summit 2019 was held from July 27th to August 4th in Tokyo and Nagoya.

World cosplay summit 2019. Starting in 2003 with only a handful of countries it has since grown to include countries from all over the globe. It is a celebration of cosplay and culture spanning multiple days and climaxing in a grand Championship where one team will be crowned the World Cosplay Summit Champion. This year forty countries will take part in the ten contest days with the opportunity to discover and get to know habits and customs of all the participating countries in the land of the Rising Sun.
The World Cosplay Summit WCS is an annual cosplay event promoting friendly international exchange through Japanese pop culture. The World Cosplay Championship took place on August 4 with participation from representatives selected in preliminary rounds held in 24 countries and regions worldwide including Japan. World Cosplay Summit returns to Singapore in 2018.
